You will be joining a strong, collaborative, and vibrant motor team that works closely together to support students across our cooperative.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a COTA at BMP, you will:
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Support students across multiple districts with sensory motor and functional needs
Conduct screenings and assist in evaluations
Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings to help teams make informed decisions
Collaborate daily with teachers, related service providers, and building teams
Help implement interventions, supports, and adaptive equipment
Communicate consistently with supervising OTs regarding caseload and student progress
Maintain clear, timely documentation
Support families in understanding their child’s needs when appropriate

BMP serves 14 districts in north-central Illinois
Most of your time will be spent in districts, with a central office in Tiskilwa (just south of Princeton, right off I-80)

QUALIFICATIONS
Illinois License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Ability to collaborate and problem-solve with teams
Strong communication skills and professionalism
