At BMP Special Education Cooperative, we're always planning ahead! With some retirements at the end of the 2026-2027 school year, we're starting to think about who might be interested in joining our team.

Who are we looking for?

An Illinois LBS1 endorsement is required, and a master's degree in special education is preferred. However, we will also consider candidates with several years of relevant special education experience who have a strong background in developing IEPs, actively participating on IEP teams, and working directly with students with disabilities. Candidates without a master's degree must be willing to pursue an advanced degree in special education.

We plan to begin interviewing in February 2027, but we're sharing this now to give interested individuals time to think about the opportunity.
